🎨 Who Were the Greatest Painters in History? | Learn Painting in Mumbai Without Age Limits

Art has been humanity’s universal language for centuries. From Renaissance masters to modern visionaries, painting has shaped cultures, inspired minds, and fueled creativity across generations.

Whether you're a child discovering colors for the first time or an adult reigniting your passion, learning painting in Mumbai has never been more accessible — or inspiring.

In this blog, we explore the greatest painters in history and show how their influence continues to shape the way we teach art to all age groups right here in Mumbai.

🖼️ 1. Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519)

  • Famous Works: Mona Lisa, The Last Supper

  • Style: Renaissance

  • Why He Matters: Da Vinci combined science and art with unmatched curiosity. His detailed sketches and realistic portraits make him a timeless inspiration for beginners and professionals alike.

🖌️ 2. Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890)

  • Famous Works: Starry Night, Sunflowers

  • Style: Post-Impressionism

  • Why He Matters: Known for his expressive brushwork and emotional intensity, Van Gogh teaches us that painting is about feeling — not perfection. A great model for students exploring personal expression.

🎨 3. Pablo Picasso (1881–1973)

  • Famous Works: Guernica, The Weeping Woman

  • Style: Cubism, Surrealism

  • Why He Matters: Picasso broke the rules. He painted like a child as an adult — showing that creativity has no age. Just like in our Mumbai painting classes for all ages, we believe in unlocking your unique style, not copying others.

🧑‍🎨 4. Claude Monet (1840–1926)

  • Famous Works: Water Lilies, Impression, Sunrise

  • Style: Impressionism

  • Why He Matters: Monet captured light and nature beautifully. His work encourages beginners to explore the magic of color and atmosphere — skills we emphasize in our landscape and nature painting workshops.

🖍️ 5. Frida Kahlo (1907–1954)

  • Famous Works: The Two Fridas, Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace

  • Style: Surrealism, Folk Art

  • Why She Matters: Frida’s art tells a story of identity and strength. Her emotional self-portraits inspire our students to paint their personal journeys — regardless of background or experience.
