Every original Tanjore painting crafted at Thangaraj Arts includes a physical, individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity (COA) embossed with our tamper-evident holographic crest and hand-signed by founder Master Artist Thangaraj.

We exclusively utilize certified 24-karat gold foil leaves (99.9% purity) sourced from heritage bullion gilders. The gold foil is meticulously layered over traditional chalk gesso relief (sukku and unjal paste on seasoned wood), embellished with genuine Jaipur semi-precious stones, ensuring radiance that endures for generations.

Yes, bespoke commissions are a hallmark of our atelier. Our master artisans create sacred Tanjore works, academic oil portraits, and wildlife murals tailored to precise architectural dimensions for pooja rooms, private temple mandirs, living spaces, and grand executive foyers.

You can submit your custom size, deity iconographical preferences, and reference images directly through our Custom Art Commission Portal or connect directly with our studio curators.

All framed artworks are mounted in seasoned Chettinad Teak or Rosewood moldings fitted with gold-beaded luxury inner linings and 2mm optical-grade anti-reflective museum acrylic (or toughened float glass).

The rear panel is hermetically sealed with acid-free backing board and a specialized moisture-barrier composite to prevent moisture ingress, oxidation, or insect damage. Learn more in our Framing & Care Guide.

Original Masterpieces are singular, one-of-a-kind artworks individually painted by Master Artist Thangaraj or senior studio faculty, executed on archival cotton canvas, primed linen, or seasoned teakwood board with 24k gold leaf and mineral pigments.

Studio Editions (when available) represent limited, hand-embellished archival pigment giclée reproductions printed on 350 GSM 100% cotton Hahnemühle rag, numbered and hand-signed by the artist.
